13oz selvedge denim with a natural unbleached brown weft, creating a deep rich indigo. The construction of the denim is very tight / closed giving a very dark indigo tone.
Inspired by the original Japanese Hakama workwear,
this silhouette was famously adopted by the Bōsōzoku (Japanese biker gangs of the 1980s) as their uniform of rebellion. It
features an added Obi-style waistband stitch.
